Speculative Work
Because creativity doesn’t need a brief.
Self-written, self-designed.
The Economist: My take on the 1988 “White out of Red” campaign by The Economist alludes to the same thing the original did: That their magazine was for the very best in the business world.
Ocean Conservancy: These advertisements highlight the urgent need to protect the world’s oceans and showcase how they’re more than mere water bodies.
Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo: Print ads for the Volkswagen Polo, Porsche Taycan, and the Volvo XC90.
McDonald’s:
1: McDonald’s response to the Whopper. Big Whoop? I think so too.
2 & 3: When McDonald’s CEO took an uncomfortably small bite of the new Big Arch burger in a viral taste test video, the internet noticed. These spec ads show Burger King seizing the moment.
Jack Daniel’s: How would Jack Daniel’s advertise its whiskey on a dry day? Inspired by a copy test.
Boeing: A classic print advertisement for the Boeing 707 and 720. Inspired by a visit to the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA, USA.
Starbucks: What if each Starbucks cup size had its own advertisement?
Chobani: A print ad for Chobani Cook: A line extension of yoghurt products made specifically for cooking purposes that helps consumers cook healthier meals with yoghurt that’s ideal for cooking, helping the brand extend its business to the cooking segment.
Heinz: When PepsiCo released their ‘Tastes OK’ campaign, everyone saw the wit. I saw an opportunity for Heinz to take over.
Apple:
1) A classic Apple ad reimagined for the Apple Watch.
2) What if Apple released the Apple Watch in 1997, when there was speculation in the media and public that Apple would go bankrupt?
Adidas: The best way for Adidas to promote road safety? Turn every zebra crossing into a touchpoint.
